Switched my eee 901 for a Sammy NC10

March 1st, 2009

Samsung NC10
Huge improvment by Samsung with the NC10 Netbook on some stuff, but I also miss some things on my Asus eee 901 netbook… my quick update is justĀ around the corner.

UPDATE:
I need to admit that the public reviews hold strong when it comes to the NC10, the white version (the black one is a fingerprint magnet) is extremely good, the keyboard is just as large as it has to be, i.e. almost a full sizer.

9.5 points for a netbook that follows the main stream specs. The only thing that they missed was a card reader that wouldn’t leave 4mm of the card sticking out of the front body, making it rather unconvenient to use a SDHC card for ReadyBoost, secondary drive, or something else that would require the card to be permanently inserted.

Outside of that, I can’t really complain about anything. If you need a netbook, this is the one to get today.
